3x3 Slam is hitting Sydney
- Tip off time - 10:00 AM
We’re taking over Throwback Alexandria for a full day of fast-paced hoops, cold Hahn beers, live DJs, and open-air energy you can feel from the sidelines.
This is a social comp for anyone who loves the game, and registration is free. So whether you’re lacing up or just kicking back, come be part of it.
How to Enter:
- Captain creates a team via the entry form.
- Captain invites their teammates (minimum 2, maximum 4), either by naming them on the entry form or by sharing their unique registration link.
- Teammate either follows the link in their email, or navigates to the entry form via the team member registration link provided by their captain.
- Once a team has a minimum of 3 players registered (including the team captain), the team is eligible to be selected for the tournament (however this does not guarantee their spot).
- The first 40 teams to register will be selected.
- We will inform you if your team has been selected – this is the only way to participate.
Spaces are limited, so get your crew together and register now before entries close on 05/03/2026.
And yes – the winning team gets to play in the 3×3 Slam Series National Finals in Sydney, this May.

This is a social basketball tournament open to everyone.
Teams consist of up to 5 people. All-male, all-female, or mixed – one big comp, no divisions.
All games will be played in one day at Throwback Alexandria.
Free to enter. We’ll kit you out with Hahn 3×3 SLAM singlets on the day.

Half or full court?
All games are played on a standard basketball half court. Games will be played at both ends of the court i.e. 2 half court games running at once.
Who can enter?
Anyone aged 18+. Teams can be all-male, all-female, or mixed — it’s one big comp with no divisions.
How teams work
Each team has 3–5 players with 3 players on the court at any one time. Your extra players can sub on at specific times.
You’ll need at least 3 to play, including one person to register the team.
How to register
One player fills out the entry form to set up the team and become captain. The rest can join the squad through emailed invites or the Team Link provided.
Registration is free
No costs to play or attend as a spectator – Registration is free, and all players get a Hahn 3×3 SLAM singlet on the day.
Where is it played
All games are played at Throwback Alexandria, NSW.
Tournament format
All teams will be placed in pools. Winners will advance in a knockout style tournament until a winning team is crowned.
What to wear
You’ll be given a team singlet on arrival. You will need to bring everything else.

Food and drink details
