We’re taking over the court at QUT for a full day of fast-paced hoops, cold Hahn beers, live DJs, and open-air energy you can feel from the sidelines.
This is a social comp for anyone who loves the game, and registration is free. So whether you’re lacing up or just kicking back, come be part of it.

Half or full court?
All games are played on a standard basketball half court. Games will be played at both ends of the court i.e. 2 half court games running at once.
Who can enter?
Anyone aged 18+. Teams can be all-male, all-female, or mixed — it’s one big comp with no divisions.
How teams work
Each team has 3–5 players with 3 players on the court at any one time. Your extra players can sub on at specific times.
You’ll need at least 3 to play, and one person to register the team.
How to register
One player signs up as team captain and invites teammates by email. They just click the link to join and fill out the form.
Registration is free
No costs to play or attend as a spectator – Registration is free, and all players get a Hahn 3×3 SLAM singlet on the day.
Where is it played
All games are on the outdoor court at QUT, Brisbane at the Gardens Point Campus.
Tournament Format
All teams will be placed in pools. Winners will advance in a knockout style tournament until a winning team is crowned.
What to wear
You’ll be given a team singlet on arrival. You will need to bring everything else.

Food and drink details
You will have access to the Botanic Bar which is near the court.
There will also be food trucks and a pop-up bar courtside to purchase food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
